Writing Unit 7: About an experiance

This time last year, things weren't going very well for me. I'd cry all day becouse I fail in a lot of exams and my classmates insult me. My parents told me that if I failed the next exam, they will punish me for one month. I spent a lot of time studding in my bedroom and I only left home to go to school.

Everything changed for me the day that my mum deciced to take me to a psychologist, becouse my marks didn't get well. He teaches me to how to study correcty, without any distractions. Since this day, I'm a very good student. On the lasts exams I didn't fail and my parents don't punish me any more.

Now, I feel much happier and my classmates don¡t chase me i'm better at school to !!

About me and my view of the world:

Spending my time...
My name is Enric Planas  and I'm a student in Escola Casa Nostra in Banyoles. I'm interested in music and sports. Some of my friends are into sports too. The people who I spend most time with are my friends and my family. The thing which I like best is spending time with the people who love me.

I don't think that the world is a bad place, although I think we could improve it if we shared things more with each other. There aren't many things that ennoys me, but one thing that make me angry is when people are rude or ignorant.

As far as the future is converned, it sometimes depress me that we won't have peace. I find it a bit frightening that there's always a war somewhere in the world. I'm rairly optimistic about my own future though. In a few years' time, I see myself  studing what I like. 

Google robots

BigDog, a four-legged all-terrain robot developed for the US military, and Cjeetah, a robot that can outrun the fastest human, now belong to Google. The internet giant has just bought Boston Dynamics, a company known for bulding robots that look like they belong in a science-fiction film. The question is, what will it do with them?

Summary Gladiator:

In the final days Marcus Aurelius reign, the agning emperor angers his son Commodus by making it known that he wants Maximus, a fearsome and respected Roman general , to be his successor. Power-hungry Commodus kill his father and orders the death of Maximus. But the latter flees, only to discover that his wife and child have been murdered by Commodus. Captured, Maximus is forced into slavery, where he is sold to Proximo, a former gladiator who sereves as both mentor and slave master. Maximus trains as a agladiator in the arena, where his fame grows.

He goes to Rome, intent on avenging the murder of his wife and son by killing the new emeperor Commodus. Maximus has learned that the one power stronger than that of the emperor is the will of the people, and he knows he can only attain his revenge by becoming the grastest hero in all the empire.

Writing 1 : Summer Holidays

My last summer holidays:

Hello my name is Enric and now I'm going to explain my last summer holidays. Fist I'm going to talk about Banyoles. Secondly I’m going to talk about Switzerland, and finally about Banyoles and the new school year.

First:

First I stayed in Banyoles, doing all my homework and meeting my friends. On Tuesdays and Thursday I went to play tennis from eight o'clock to nine. Then I spent a few days in my sister’s flat in Barcelona. Then one day I went fishing to Empuria Brava on Uncle’s Jordi's boat.

Second:

Then in August I went to Switzerland for two weeks. There I visited all the country, from the big city of Ginebra to the big mountains of Jungfrau. The big city is very multicultural, there's a lot of Arabic people. The rural part is the most beautiful. One curiosity of Switzerland is that in some countries the cows are wild and sometimes they stay in the middle of the road. Then I visit the famous cheese factories of Gruyeres. The speciality of Switzerland is cheese and chocolate. The problem of Switzerland is that is very expensive. We visited the Lind’s factory.

Finally:

Finally, I returned to Banyoles to finish all my homework, the Catalan, the Spanish and Math’s work, and buy all the material to start the new year of school.

Writing 9: Trip to Italy

On the first day, we took the bus at 4:45 AM and we went to Girona's airport. There we took a plane to Pisa. There we visited the famous tower, the cathedral and the baptistery. It was a tiring day. Then we took another bus to Florence.

On the Second day we visited Florence in general. In the Morning we visited the Uffizi Art Gallery, we saw some of the famous paintings. In the afternoon we went to the Doom and we went shooping.

On the third day we went ti Rome by train. There we visited a famous bulding, that seems like a type write. After that we visited the Pantheon and then we returned to the hotel.

On the fourth day in the morning we visited the Vatican, and we had a lot of free time. We went to the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, It was spectacular. After the Vatican we had time to visit Saint Peter's square. At night we went to the Trevi's Fountain.

On the last day, during all morning we visited the Coliseoum. Then in the afternoon we took the plane to Barcelona, and we came back to Banyoles.

The story of Adidas:

The original name of Adidas was “Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik”. Was worn in Germany and

created by Adolf "Adi" Dassler with brother’s help. In the 19^th century Adidas was a small factory, they were shoes makers. In those days, Adidas was unpopular, but “Adi” and his brother decided to make sport shoes.

Then Adidas became more popular, and a lot of German athletes decided to wore them. During the First World War, German soldiers wore Adidas military bots. Also they invent the famous Panzerschreck, the german grenade launcher.

These days, in 1998, Bernard Tapie bought Adidas for 1600 million dollars. He decided to made sport clothes, and the fame of Adidas became bigger. Today, Adidas is one of the most famous sport clothes in the world. The actual boss of Adidas says that in every house there is a piece of Adidas.
