BigDog, a four-legged all-terrain robot developed for the US military, and Cjeetah, a robot that can outrun the fastest human, now belong to Google. The internet giant has just bought Boston Dynamics, a company known for bulding robots that look like they belong in a science-fiction film. The question is, what will it do with them?

ESO 4: Abercrombie Boycott

Abercrombie Y Fitch is facing a backlash over comments made by its CEO abount only wanting "good-looking people" to wear their clothes. Mike Jeffries remarks, published in a new book, have caused several stars, including Miley Cyrus, to boycott the brand. Meanwhile, one blogger is attracting attention with her spoof adverts for a fashion retailer - the Us store doesn't do above a size of 10 for women.

The small town of Alamogordo is home to a nearly 30 years-old mystery that is about to be solved. Legend says that Aatari, one of the first computer games companies, dumped millions of copies of its game E.T in a landfill here in 1983. Atari denies this, but plans are going ahead to excavate this site. The cult game now sells on eBay for 250 $

More than 300,000 people go to royal Acot Week: the most popular horse races in Europe. The Queen sits in the Royal Enclosure, where there is a strict dress code. Women wear dresses and hats and you can see some very crazy crations.

ESO 4: TALKING WHALE

Scientists have revealed that a beluha whale learned to imitate human speech so well that at least one diver thought that someone was talking to him.Researchers at the NMMF made recordings to find out why a diver apparently heard a voice saying " get out of the pool ". An investigation lead to a whale called Noc. While dolphins have been taught to mimic human speech, this is the first known example of an animal learning.

English woman Francesca Pitcher made this cake for her daughter's birthday. She was inspired by a real albino python that she had seen at London Zoo. The problem was that nobody at the birthday party wanted to eat it. It looked too much like a snake...and not enought like a cake.
