ESO 4: TALKING WHALE

Scientists have revealed that a beluha whale learned to imitate human speech so well that at least one diver thought that someone was talking to him.Researchers at the NMMF made recordings to find out why a diver apparently heard a voice saying " get out of the pool ". An investigation lead to a whale called Noc. While dolphins have been taught to mimic human speech, this is the first known example of an animal learning.
