I'm writing to you to check that everything is fine.

I rhunk you will like Barcelona. On saturday morning, we're going for a walk across the Rambla, and we will see all the Chrismas lights. My parents want to show you their favourite rastaurant It is a Chinese restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will go out. There's an ice rink. We will go there with some of my friends. Then we can go to a bar to eat some traditional food, I think you will love it.

Then we're going yo a friend's home and we will sleep there. We're going to meet you at the airport, see you next week.

Hi Mike,

We've been on holiday in UK for a month and I've just met this girl, Maria. She's absolutley nice and she's very pleasant.

I met her in the London Eye, when we were waiting to enter. Both of us were having fun, talking about our things. After that she went with her family and I haven't seen her any more.

I haven't been thinking about her anymore becouse I didn't know anything about her life. I thing one day we will meet again.

The story of Adidas:

The original name of Adidas was “Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik”. Was worn in Germany and created by Adolf "Adi" Dassler with brother’s help. In the 19^th century Adidas was a small factory, they were shoes makers. In those days, Adidas was unpopular, but “Adi” and his brother decided to make sport shoes.

Then Adidas became more popular, and a lot of German athletes decided to wore them. During the First World War, German soldiers wore Adidas military bots. Also they invent the famous Panzerschreck, the german grenade launcher.

These days, in 1998, Bernard Tapie bought Adidas for 1600 million dollars. He decided to made sport clothes, and the fame of Adidas became bigger. Today, Adidas is one of the most famous sport clothes in the world. The actual boss of Adidas says that in every house there is a piece of Adidas.

Banky's " Flower Girl " mural is to be sold at an auction in Beverly Hills this month, along with four earlier works. This piece, wich appeared on a Los Angeles gas station wall in 2008, is expected to go for $300,00. The final price, thoungt, could be much more. Another mural by the British artist, "Slave Labour", found behind a shop in London, sold recently for 750,000 $

In my opinion, I think it's Ok that one artist sells his paintings. Becouse, if he has money, he will make more things.

A woman in Hawaii has convinced  island officials to change their ID card and driving licende formats to accommodate her name. Janice Keihanaikukauakahihuñiekkahaunaele got her name when she married in 1992. After being unable to get a driving licence with her full name on it, she finally turned to the media for help. Hawaii state has now agreed to modify it's computer systems to cope with longer names.

Abercrombie Y Fitch is facing a backlash over comments made by its CEO abount only wanting "good-looking people" to wear their clothes. Mike Jeffries remarks, published in a new book, have caused several stars, including Miley Cyrus, to boycott the brand. Meanwhile, one blogger is attracting attention with her spoof adverts for a fashion retailer - the Us store doesn't do above a size of 10 for women.

Writing 2: Write and account of a decade

2000-2010 was a decade of terrorism and war, but during this period there were a lot of technologic innovations. The positive things were that this decade was declared the decade of the peace culture and the no violence to the little children. But there were a lot of horrible things, for example the war of Iraq or the terrorism attempt to the twin towers.

In the world of music, there were a lot of good music groups, like Coldplay with his Violet hill; the Black eyed peas with his I got a feeling or the famous singer Lady Gaga. In the world of cinema, there were a lot good productions, like The Lord of rings, Up, Inception, Kill Bill, The hurt locker, Grand Torino…There are a lot of master pieces.

By the end of the decade, there were a lot of revolutionary inventions, like the iPhone, the Hybrid Car, the iPot, the Nintendo Wii…One of the most memorable events was the Web Wikileaks because it shows the real word, without any lie.

Sleepy Hollow

In 1799, a young  detective called Ichaboard Crane investigated several murders in the little town Sleepy Hollow. Ehen Ichboard arrived to the town, the mayor's assistant Baltus Van Tassel recived gim, he told him about the dead of three people which their heads dissapeared. He told him an old story about a German mercenary, Christopher Walken, was terrifed for everyone. He rides his horse across the battlefield leaving dead and darkness. He was executed in 1779 and buried in the woods of Sleepy Hollow.
